'I want to bring this home here tonight' Photo Tom Pallant Saturday April 11, 2026:  Grammy-winning superstar  Yungblud  brought  Idols: The World Tour  home to the UK after a year in which he found acclaim in the US. This year the singer picked up the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance and released part two of his No.1 album  Idols . The Doncaster-born musician played the completely sold-out Utilita Arena in Sheffield on Saturday, with a spectacular rock performance featuring mass singalongs and pyrotechnics.   The show opened with confetti cannons and a truly epic 'Hello Heaven, Hello' before 'The Funeral', 'Idols 1' and 'Lovesick Lullaby'. "This album, Idols, was made in Yorkshire and we brought it home tonight,"  said Yungblud. It was a show that saw flames shooting from the stage, along with chants of:  "Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Yorkshire."  "I've been away for too long,"  said Yungblud.  "Does anybody want to kidnap me and take me home with them? I won't be good though!" A member of the audience was brought on stage to play guitar for an explosive 'Fleabag' and then Yungblud was off into the crowd to meet the fans. 'Changes' was, of course, dedicated to Ozzy Osbourne, who he said had brought many people together.  Yungblud said:  "Is this anybody's first ever Yungblud show? Well, welcome to the family, man. We are so honoured to play for you tonight because this community, this family, and rock and roll are all about love. Ozzy Osbourne's about love. Yungblud is about love. You, tonight, are about love." A massive 'Loner' preceded darkness as Yungblud left the stage, the audience still singing. He returned for anthemic renditions of 'Ghosts' and 'Zombie', and a final unstoppable encore of 'Suburban Requiem'. Yungblud said:  "Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This album was made in Yorkshire, we toured it all around the world, and we'd like to bring it home, here tonight. If you're from Yorkshire I love you. If you are not, I love you too but just a little bit less. I'm joking! "I cannot believe that this community, this family, is getting this big. I could f*cking cry right now. The house music legend and Grammy Award winner Roger Sanchez is set to release his first studio album in 20 years when he drops his long-awaited new project ‘Spectrum’  on June 5th . He today launches the album alongside the new single ‘Temptation’ , a collaboration with Low Steppa  which also features Ragdoll . Listen HERE.   Roger Sanchez  has pulled out all the stops for ‘Spectrum’ , with a wide array of special guests. He has called on big names from the worlds of house and electronica, such as  Fedde Le Grand and Low Steppa , topline queens and vocal talents Karen Harding , Kelli-Leigh  and Leo Wood along with big names from other genres ( Melanie C,   Chico Castillo,   Kele Le Roc  and Donae’o ). Today they release their long-awaited six-track debut EP ‘Class of Eighty Eight’  via This Feeling Records . It comes as the Midlands -based quintet prepare for their biggest summer festival season to date.   The EP captures  Eighty Eight Miles’ singular style: a melting point of luscious harmonies and ‘70s Californian folk-rock style, with the verve, bounce and youthful energy of the UK’s contemporary indie-pop scene. If you’re new to their charms, the EP’s new focus song  ‘Favourite Season’ is a fine starting point. Led by  Ellie Grace’s  captivating and expressive vocal, ‘Favourite Season’ elevates their core sound with their grittiest, sweariest track to date complete with contrasting sultry, swooning vocal melodies.   Vocalist/guitarist Ellie  says, “We are so excited to finally be releasing our debut EP ‘Class of Eighty Eight’! All pre-order copies sold-out in just two hours, but remaining stock will be available at upcoming shows.   Eighty Eight Miles  formed while attending the BIMM Music Institute  in Birmingham . The band - completed by Max Bets-Pael (guitar), Bekka Redfern  (bass), Dan Hobday  (drums) and Ollie Newbury  (keys/guitar) - shared influences both current ( Blossoms , Declan McKenna , Red Rum Club ) and classic ( Fleetwood Mac , The Beach Boys , The Mamas & The Papas ). While they have only released a handful of tracks prior to this EP, they’ve built their reputation in the live arena - particularly with festival dates such as the Isle of Wight , The Great Escape and 2000trees .   The band will celebrate the release of the EP with a sold-out homecoming at Birmingham’s Muthers Studio  tomorrow, and they also support The Cases  and The Lilacs at select shows. After causing an avalanche of anticipation when they announced that their long-awaited debut album ‘Keeping Up With The Joneses' will be released on  October 2nd , The Lilacs continue to surge forwards as they unveil its lead single ‘Girl Behind The Bar’ . Both the album and single are out via Manchester’s renowned independent label Scruff of the Neck .   ‘Keeping Up With The Joneses' i s the sound of  The Lilacs  stepping up to the next level. They’ve raised the bar with songwriting that sparkles with bigger earworm choruses than ever before, and their tour-honed musicianship has clearly evolved. In the midst of their biggest year to date,  South Arcade  return with their first release of 2026.  SUPERMAN  is available everywhere now SUPERMAN  blends the band's signature Y2K-inspired sound with a dynamic mix of genre influences, creating a track that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. Glitchy pop production and punchy alt-rock energy collide as the song builds around anthemic hooks and heavy choruses. Speaking of the track, the four-piece said,  "SUPERMAN is about being pushed past breaking point. All patience has tapped out and you put the song on as your rage anthem. We found it funny how the verses are so chill then it just suddenly goes crazy, which kind of summed up the feelings we wanted. When you're sick of being the one who always holds it together and something has pushed you over the edge."  Directed by DOGBRAIN,   SUPERMAN   will be accompanied by the official music video, which brings their rebellious energy to life through a striking concept exploring the gap between the rage fantasy and the socially acceptable response. Each band member appears as an ordinary 'civilian' in a mundane, mildly oppressive situation. As the track builds, the pre-chorus fractures reality into cinematic bursts of cartoonish violence before the chorus snaps everything back into place, grounding us in the social norms we're expected to uphold. As the video unfolds, it becomes clear these explosive alter egos never truly exist; they're intrusive thoughts. On 25th February 2027, the band are set to play a show at London's iconic O2 Academy Brixton marking a major milestone in their rapid rise. The band announced the show in front of thousands while playing The O2 Arena supporting 5 Seconds Of Summer on their massive Everyone's A Star UK and EU tour last week and have been teasing the new song during their set reaching thousands of new fans. Friday 10 th  April  -   Evanescence  are back with a new song " Who Will You Follow " — listen  here  -  which was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini (Bad Omens, YUNGBLD, Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox) and Jordan Fish (Bring Me The Horizon, Poppy, House of Protection, Architects). The track is a preview for their forthcoming album  Sanctuary,  set for release  June 5th  —   pre-order/save  here .
