Monday 20 April: Rock icon  Sammy Hagar  today announced a revised itinerary for his forthcoming UK tour, bringing his top-grossing  Best Of All Worlds Tour to a series of more intimate, tech-forward performing arts venues. Inspired by the breakthrough success of his recent Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live, where advanced sound and immersive technology redefined the live experience, the July 2026 dates have been reconfigured to prioritise similar venues across the UK. The updated routing also allows for a special multi-night run in London, where Hagar and the band will be among the first artists to headline the soon-to-open British Airways ARC. From the moment doors opened, it was clear this wasn’t just another gig - it was a full celebration of live music, community, and the thrill of discovering rising talent. With support from Runaway Club and AFTERDRIVE, the night had all the makings of something special before the headliner had even stepped on stage. Early on, Sauchiehall Street was absolutely packed, with fans snaking down the road in anticipation. Kicking things off were Runaway Club, a four-piece I’ve had my eye on for a while now. Their recent track 6 Weeks has been on repeat since it dropped, and hearing it live in Glasgow completely lived up to expectations. Their set felt polished while still holding onto that raw edge that makes live music so exciting - and judging by the crowd’s reaction, I wasn’t the only one impressed. If you get the chance to catch them on their UK tour later this year, it’s well worth grabbing a ticket early - this is a band on the rise. I’ve been following them for a while, and there’s nothing quite like watching a band you’ve supported start to have their moment - and that’s exactly what happened here. From the second they stepped on stage, the energy shifted. Tracks like Fashion and Valet only built momentum, each delivered with confidence, charisma, and a genuine love for performing that filled the entire venue. The kind of set that makes you feel like you’re witnessing a band right before they blow up. Their chemistry on stage is undeniable, every member bringing something distinct while still feeling completely in sync. The crowd fed off that energy, and in return, the band gave everything back tenfold. It’s rare to see a support act command a room like that, but AFTERDRIVE did it effortlessly. She’s built a fiercely loyal following over the years -  fans who’ve stayed with her through every era, from PARANOIA to SUCKERPUNCH and into her latest chapter with i feel everything. That connection was obvious the second she appeared, launching straight into fang with a confidence that immediately commanded the room. Photo by Lynsey Wyllie Determined to give fans everything, she powered through an impressive 26-song setlist in under 90 minutes - no small feat by any standard. The setlist spanned every era of her career, highlighting just how much she’s grown, both sonically and as a performer. What stood out most throughout the night, though, was the crowd. Every lyric - from the earliest releases to the newest tracks - was shouted back with unwavering passion. It created an electric back-and-forth that elevated the entire show. You could feel just how much these songs mean to people, and Maggie clearly felt it too, taking moments between tracks to soak it all in and connect with the audience on a genuine level. From the buzz of the queue outside to the final notes ringing out inside the venue, every part of the evening delivered. Runaway Club proved they’re ones to watch, AFTERDRIVE won over a whole new wave of fans, and Maggie Lindemann cemented exactly why she’s earned such a devoted following. Multi-Platinum-selling and four-time 2026 ACM nominee Cody Johnson is set to release his new studio album,  Banks Of The Trinity ,  on June 26, 2026.  Produced by Trent Willmon, the COJO Music/Warner Records Nashville album will be available in stores and at all digital retailers and streaming platforms.  Banks Of The Trinity  is now available for pre-order   HERE .  Cody spoke exclusively with  Billboard Magazine  to share the first details about the new album. Read it  HERE. To celebrate the announcement, Cody is debuting the first song from the album, "I Want You," written by Tom Douglas, Tony Lane, and Matt Rogers. It's available  now  on all digital platforms. "On this album, I wanted to tell the story about my childhood," Cody said. "When I heard the song 'Banks Of The Trinity' for the first time, it was like this portrait showed in my head of memories that I had honestly forgotten. It just took me back home to Sebastopol, Texas, where I grew up on the Trinity River. I had tears in my eyes when I heard it for the first time." The album's cover image is a photo of Lawrence's Grocery Store in Sebastopol. As a kid, Cody would ride his bike two miles down an old dirt road to get a cream soda and a Blue Bell ice cream bar. He loved listening to the old men talk for a while before riding back home with a basket of groceries. Banks Of The Trinity  follows six hit albums, including  Leather , which won the 2024 CMA Album of the Year. Cody has four RIAA Platinum #1 singles—"'Til You Can't," "The Painter," "Dirt Cheap," and "I'm Gonna Love You" with Carrie Underwood—along with numerous Gold and Platinum awards and 10 billion global streams. His latest single, "The Fall," is in the Top 5 this week.  On Friday, April 24, Cody will headline Stagecoach for the first time. The show is Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will be livestreamed exclusively on Prime Video.  Cody's headline tour runs through the fall, with many sold-out shows, including the biggest concert-only performance at RODEOHOUSTON and the largest show ever at NRG Stadium, where he sold 80,203 tickets. Mae Stephens r ecently told followers that she thought she had written  "the delulu song of the summer"  and today's release of the new single  'Delusional'  proves that she was correct. It comes as she has spent recent weeks translating her fiercely loyal online following into real world connection with a packed headline tour, a special guest appearance at  G-A-Y , and a set at the first  UK  edition of the  Anti Social Camp  showcase. I had so much fun creating this track and definitely feel that it pulled me out of my comfort zone on the songwriting side. OSKI has an incredible ear for harmonies and played a massive hand in creating each layer of the incredible chorus and backing vocals. I cannot wait for everyone to hear the full version and I truly hope you love it as much as we loved creating it!" The accompanying video matches the sheer fun factor of the song. The winner was announced after an electrifying live final on Wednesday 15 April at Strings Bar and Venue. Five exceptional finalists; Willowfly, Georgia Nicole, Ruby, Jay Eatwell and Fugo Kid, took to the stage in front of a packed local audience and an expert panel of judges, all competing for a coveted performance slot at the legendary festival. Blending Hip Hop and Jazz influences into a distinctive and emotionally resonant sound, Fugo Kid stood out for his raw authenticity and compelling stage presence. Today  Massive Attack  is sharing their collaboration with  Tom Waits , ' Boots on the Ground '. And sadly for all, their song is never more urgent and timely. The song chronicles the madness and rabid abandonment of mankind to the commands of "The Masters of War”, as Dylan put it. It marks Massive Attack's first new music since 2020 and Waits’s first new recording since the 2011 album ‘Bad As Me’.     The song is available today on streaming platforms and will be followed by a 12" vinyl release. The 12” edition features "Boots on the Ground" on Side A, with an exclusively Waits B-side titled "The Fly” - a track featuring Waits’s trademark droll and sardonic spoken word.   When asked about the collaboration, Waits said:     “One day many years ago, I accepted an invitation from Massive Attack to collaborate. Their long release delay never worried me. Today, as in all of mankind's yesterdays, guarantees this type of song will never go out of style. Man's folly of fiascos is a feast for the flies. Nerina Pallot  has been building an empowering second chapter to her career, a return fuelled by connecting directly with fans and continuing to craft a catalogue of accomplished and relatable songs. As her following is now bigger than ever - as evidenced by playing her largest headline show to date at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 31st  - she now announces the May 29th  release of ‘Fire Escape Symphonies: The Best Of’ .   ‘Fire Escape Symphonies’ is the result of Nerina’s  new-found realisation that the enduring and acclaimed career that has cultivated is truly something to celebrate. The visuals were shot in South London by Jasper Visuals, and premiered last night on YouTube. With zero announcements or teasers from the band, Enter Shikari last week surprise released their brand new album! Lose Your Self (released via So Recordings)   spans 12 tracks exploring themes of desolation, futility and complete despair at the state of the world, but with glimmers of hopefulness and optimism threaded throughout. Whilst the likes of major pop stars including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber who have famously released albums out of the blue over the years, Enter Shikari have managed to not only release Lose Your Self digitally, but also physically, unlike their predecessors.
