The Outside Organisation, the UK’s long-established premier music and entertainment PR firm, founded and led by Alan Edwards today announced a strategic partnership with Noteworthy Media and CEO/Founder Heidi Jacob

The collaborative venture will see the two companies join forces to offer clients integrated PR campaigns, combining Heidi’s extensive experience in TV and Radio promotions and Outside’s vast network of media relationships to create a communications powerhouse. It will be focused on building dreams, exploring fresh creative ideas and challenging traditional industry models.

The world of PR, like everything else, is changing and as existing walls tumble, a new vision is needed. This partnership will deliver exactly that. It’s all about creating new growth areas for both existing and new clients. Between them Outside and Noteworthy have an extraordinary wealth of experience to draw upon.

Alan's work in helping to create Brand Beckham and managing Naomi Campbell’s profile for many years are just two examples of his ability to grow a global story for clients. Beyond artists, Alan has curated his own V&A exhibition around the cultural history of PR and continues to work closely with the V&A on multiple projects.

Outside clients currently include Yungblud, Nick Cave, the Bowie Estate, the V&A, BST Hyde Park, All Points East, Isle of Wight Festival, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Ayra Starr. Previous clients range from Prince to The Rolling Stones

With a career spanning more than two decades, Heidi was previously Head of Media at Universal Music Group, Director of Media and Promotions at 0207 Def Jam, and has held various roles at Island Records, Warner Music Group and Decca Records. Heidi brings experience across an eclectic mix of genres and is passionate about curating bespoke campaigns designed to enhance cultural visibility. She is particularly focused on bringing together complementary clients to spark synergistic moments that resonate across media.

Noteworthy represents clients across music, sport, and entertainment with a mix of stars that include Stormzy, Nia Archives, Alex Iwobi, Ayra Starr, Wretch 32 and Muni Long

Alan said: “The industry is always changing and when Chris Goodman, our Head of Media and I met Heidi, we knew that we shared a similar mindset on how you offer clients a whole new level of service and campaigns. Outside has always dealt with the whole spectrum of media, but this

will accelerate what we can do for clients. Heidi brings great experience and an incredible level of energy and passion, and I’m really excited about what we can achieve together. And this is just the start of an expansion of what we do with European plans to come later this year.”

Heidi said: “By combining the strengths of Noteworthy and Outside, we’re creating the potential for truly super-charged promotions campaigns. Bringing together my experience with Outside’s exceptional reputation allows us to deliver strategic, bespoke and innovative campaigns for clients. It’s a unique partnership and I’m incredibly excited to get started.”

The deal will come into effect immediately.
