Acclaimed rock band Taking Back Sunday have announced two highly anticipated Irish headline shows this May, marking their first performances in Ireland and Northern Ireland since 2019.


The band will play The Academy in Dublin on May 20th followed by The Limelight in Belfast on May 21st, giving fans on the island of Ireland their first opportunity in over six years to catch the band live.


Renowned for their emotionally charged performances and anthemic catalogue spanning more than two decades, Taking Back Sunday remain one of the most influential bands in alternative rock. The upcoming shows promise a career-spanning set packed with fan favourites.


The Irish dates come as part of a busy year of touring for the band. Taking Back Sunday will also appear at Slam Dunk Festival in the UK this May, joining a stacked lineup at one of the country's most celebrated alternative music festivals.
