London, Saturday 30th May: LA pop-punk sensation Chloe Star brought raucous energy to an exclusive show as excitement in north London reached fever pitch.
Fresh from the release of her latest single, 'Fairytale', Star took to the stage at The Grace, packed with fans bursting with an excitement to match that of the hoards of Arsenal fans in the surrounding streets for the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The buzz in the Highbury venue was palpable as Chloe stormed the stage with fan favourites including 'TNT', 'Emergency Contact' and 'I Didn't Wanna Say Goodbye'.
As well as unreleased tracks 'Games' and 'Trainwreck', the set featured a cover of Justin Bieber's 'One Less Lonely Girl'.
'Fairytale' was released on Friday and sees Chloe in typically honest form: "I know I want her. I feel like I get in my own way, so ready to fail and fuck up the fairytale."
Chloe Star said: "My song Fairytale is about longing for a kind of love that feels whimsical and almost unreal. But it also reflects the realisation that, in chasing that kind of love, I sometimes become the monster, sabotaging the very things I care about most. It raises questions too: does fairytale love really last the way movies say it does? Do stories like 'Beauty and the Beast' actually end in lasting happiness, or do we just stop watching before things get complicated? I guess we'll never really know."
Chloe's experienced UK band featured musical director Jonny Breakwell (Pinkpantheress), drummer Gabi King (The 1975 percussion, guitarist Jake Bisognin (Pixie Lott) and bassist Alex Hancox (Cat Burns).
Support at the show came from Rom-1 and Vanès.
