TUESDAY 26 MAY, LONDON: Following the huge success of its debut, American Express presents BST Hyde Park is delighted to announce the return of The Hyde Park Darts Championship, a PDC Pro-Am tournament featuring top stars Luke Humphries, Fallon Sherrock, Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting, each paired with a celebrity teammate.

PDC Presents The Hyde Park Darts Championship will take place on Wednesday 8th July, featuring special guests; broadcaster AJ Odudu and sports presenter Emma Paton alongside YouTuber Behzinga and presenter Joe Swash, back to defend his joint-title with Fallon Sherrock.

Tickets go on sale at 12pm on Friday 29 May. The pro-am tournament is part of the BST Hyde Park Open House midweek series of events. For information on Open House, visit www.bst-hydepark.com

The Hyde Park Darts Championship, featuring some of the sport’s biggest players, will be played out on BST Hyde Park’s famous Great Oak Stage.

‘Cool Hand Luke’ Luke Humphries returns for another chance at Hyde Park glory. Humphries is the reigning BetMGM Premier League and World Masters champion, currently ranked world number two on the PDC Order of Merit. Cool Hand’s rise to darting superstardom began with his maiden major title at the 2023 World Grand Prix, followed by Grand Slam of Darts and Players Championship Finals victories before a famous World Championship triumph over Littler in January 2024. He steered England to World Cup of Darts glory alongside Michael Smith in June 2024, added the World Matchplay title in July, and retained the Players Championship Finals crown later that year – becoming only the third player in history to win back-to-back PC Finals titles.

In 2025, Humphries captured the World Masters and the BetMGM Premier League, completing the prestigious PDC triple crown (World Championship, World Matchplay, Premier League). Now an eight-time major singles champion, Humphries enters 2026 with a point to prove after relinquishing his world number one ranking to Littler following successive early exits at the end of the 2025 season.

‘Queen of the Palace’ Fallon Sherrock returns to defend her title! Sherrock changed darts history when she became the first woman to defeat a man at the PDC World Darts Championship, stunning Ted Evetts at Alexandra Palace in December 2019 before following it up with another famous win over former major champion Mensur Suljovic.

Sherrock’s exploits brought worldwide attention to the sport and helped transform opportunities for women in darts. Since then, she has remained one of the biggest names in the women’s game, winning the 2022 Women’s World Matchplay title and continuing to compete regularly on the PDC circuit. In 2026, Sherrock showed she remains a major force by ending Beau Greaves’ incredible 114-match winning streak on the PDC Women’s Series, while also launching her own darts range after becoming a player ambassador for Winmau.

‘The Asp’ Nathan Aspinall has built a reputation as one of the sport’s fiercest competitors thanks to his battling performances on the biggest stages. A former UK Open and World Matchplay champion, Aspinall enjoyed another strong spell across 2025 by claiming multiple European Tour titles and reaching the Premier League play-offs. Known for his intensity, crowd connection and relentless scoring power, the Stockport star remained a regular contender in televised majors throughout 2025 and 2026. Aspinall also reached the quarter-finals of the 2026 PDC World Championship and continues to sit inside the world’s top 15 on the PDC Order of Merit. Now he’s back to claim the win in Hyde Park.

‘The Bullet’ Stephen Bunting has enjoyed a hugely successful resurgence in recent seasons, re-establishing himself among the world’s leading players with his trademark heavy scoring and infectious personality. The former BDO World Champion has become a fan favourite on the PDC circuit and enjoyed a standout 2024 and 2025 campaign, including strong runs in major televised events and a return to the Premier League. Bunting climbed back into the world’s top 10 during 2026 and remained a regular feature in the latter stages of major tournaments, underlining his consistency and popularity within the sport.

PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter said: “We’re delighted to see The Hyde Park Darts Championship return following the huge success of last year’s event.

“Having some of the sport’s biggest stars involved alongside well-known celebrity names creates a fantastic atmosphere and introduces darts to a wider audience in a unique setting.

“The Great Oak Stage provides an iconic backdrop for the event and we’re looking forward to another memorable evening as part of BST Hyde Park Open House.”
