Today, three-time Grammy® Award winner Ariana Grande announces her new single, "hate that i made you love me," set for release on May 29th. The track marks the first release from her highly anticipated eighth studio album, petal, executive produced and co-written by Ariana Grande and ILYA, arriving July 31st via Republic Records.

Fans can now pre-order both the single and album across a range of digital and physical formats. "hate that i made you love me" is exclusively available in two 7-inch vinyl variants, along with two CD and two cassette editions. All formats are available now for pre-order HERE.


Most recently, Grande starred as Glinda in Jon M. Chu's feature films Wicked and Wicked: For Good opposite Cynthia Erivo's Elphaba, alongside an all-star cast including Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Bailey, and Jeff Goldblum. The films have collectively grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide, making them the highest-grossing film series ever based on a Broadway musical. Grande's performance earned her Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA, Critics Choice, and SAG Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress, while Wicked also received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for Best Picture.

 

Continuing to expand her career across screen and stage, Grande has completed production on Universal's Focker-In-Law, in which she stars opposite Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, set for release this November. In 2027, she will make her highly anticipated stage debut on London's West End in a revival of Sunday in the Park with George opposite Jonathan Bailey. She will also lend her voice to Warner Bros.' animated musical adaptation of Dr. Seuss's Oh, the Places You'll Go! and appear in an upcoming season of FX's American Horror Story.
