Ryan and Rory have discovered two things about the UK. We know how to do country music, and apparently, we know how to party. After making their first trip across the pond for C2C earlier this year, the duo wasted absolutely no time finding an excuse to come back, returning less than six months later for The Long Road Festival in Lutterworth.

When I caught up with the Ohio trio backstage at The Long Road Festival, they had just delivered one of those sets where you could physically watch a crowd getting bigger. I had somehow managed to miss Oliver Hazard every time they had previously been in the UK, so this was my first chance to finally see them live.

The last time I spoke to Lily Fitts, I had one request. Come back to the UK. That was backstage in Glasgow in December, when Fitts was opening for Max McNown and experiencing British crowds for the first time. Fast forward eight months and, ladies and gentlemen, SHE’S BACK.
