Thirty years. That's how long UK fans have waited for Garth Brooks to return, and on a warm summer evening at BST Hyde Park, that wait finally came to an end. Judging by the record-breaking crowd packed into Hyde Park, it's safe to say country fans hadn't forgotten him. Setting a brand-new attendance record for BST Hyde Park, Brooks wasn't just returning to the UK – he was making history.

Lewis Capaldi headlined the second of two headline shows at BST Hyde Park on Sunday night, with The Kooks' Luke Pritchard joining him for a duet of the band's 2006 classic, Naive.

It quickly became one of the most talked-about BST Hyde Park shows of the summer when Pitbull not only announced he would be taking over the iconic Great Oak Stage, but also attempting a Guinness World Record. Not only did he smash it, but he walked away with two Guinness World Records during his sold-out Friday night show.

The last time I saw The Crowe Boys was supporting Cameron Whitcomb in Glasgow, and I still remember leaving that show thinking, everyone needs to see this band live. So catching up backstage at BST Hyde Park after they'd supported Garth Brooks felt like the perfect full-circle moment.

LiveWithLP caught up with Mae Hill backstage at BST Hyde Park after she'd just stepped off stage supporting Pitbull, and somehow she still had enough energy to match mine - which, trust me, is saying something.

After a first UK trip that saw her battling what she affectionately calls the "super flu," seeing Mae Estes back on British soil felt like the comeback we'd all been waiting for.
