[Monday 2nd February] Having been together for over half a century, 2026 marks another significant landmark in The Cure's career as they pick up two Grammy Awards at yesterday's LA ceremony. 


The legendary band, and headliner for this year's Sky Presents the Isle of Wight Festival, were awarded 'Best Alternative Music Album' for Songs of a Lost World, and 'Best Alternative Music Performance' for Alone.Songs of a Lost World marked the 14th studio release for the band. Their first album in 16 years, the album also saw The Cure receive nominations for Album of the Year, Group of the Year and Alternative/ Rock Act at the 2025 BRIT Awards.

The Cure's set at the Isle of Wight Festival will be fans' first opportunity to see the band live in the UK in 2026.
